EXPERIENCE
Mr. Hamilton has been involved with the CQA of over 23,500,000 ft² of both smooth and textured High Density, Very Low Density, and Linear Low Density Polyethylene and Polypropylene (PP) geomembranes. In addition, Mr. Hamilton has also provided Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) monitoring services for the installation of geotextiles, geogrids, geonets, geocomposites, and geosynthetic clay liners. He has experience with both single and double liner system construction as well as geosynthetic closure system installation. Mr. Hamilton has significant experience with the installation and monitoring of Leak Detection, Collection, and Removal Systems (LDCRS). Specifically, Mr. Hamilton has experience with LDCRSs consisting of geotextile filters, geonets, different combinations of HDPE and polyvinyl chloride pipe, and granular drainage systems. In addition, Mr. Hamilton has experience with the provision of electrical leak survey services on soil-covered, liquid-covered, and uncovered liners. He is I-CORP's first instructor of field CQA monitoring practices and has provided instruction to student CQA monitors and engineering staff in the US, Hong Kong, England and Venezuela.

  • Hazardous Waste Facilities

    • Hazardous waste landfill, Wayne Disposal Inc., Site No. 2 Master Cell VI, Cell D, Belleville, Michigan, 1990-1991. 775,000 ft² of 80 mil thick HDPE geomembrane. CQA of geomembranes, geonets, and geotextiles and protective cover soil. Double liner system. Position-Senior Engineering Technician.
    • Containment ponds, MK-Ferguson Company, United States Department of Energy, Weldon Springs, Missouri, 1992 and 1993. CQA of 140,000 ft² of 60 mil smooth HDPE geomembrane. The lining system for two ponds consists of a single composite lining system, and a third pond consists of a secondary composite liner and a primary geosynthetic liner. The liners geomembranes were 60 mil thick HDPE. CQA of geomembranes, geonets, and GCL (Claymax). Position - Site Superintendent.
    • Hazardous waste landfill cover, MK-Ferguson Company of Oak Ridge, Bear Creek Burial Grounds and Walk-In Pits (B), Oak Ridge, TN 1993 and 1994.
