I-CORP'S HDPE GEOMEMBRANE CONSTRUCTION QUALITY ASSURANCE PLAN
For some time I-CORP has been fine-tuning its HDPE geomembrane liner construction quality assurance (CQA) plan in order to make it fundamentally applicable to any project involving an HDPE geomembrane, and to make it available to design engineers and others becoming involved with lining systems but who may not have the required polymer performance knowledge and expertise. This will assist geotechnical and civil engineers, new to polymers, to immediately have a technically effective and cost effective Quality Plan at their fingertips.

I-CORP's 60 page CQA Plan for HDPE Geomembrane Liners incorporates 18 years of polymer research, on-site liner CQA, liner leak location survey, liner failure analysis, and seam nondestructive testing experience. The CQA Plan is provided in hard copy and on disc (3½") in either Microsoft Word 6.0a or WordPerfect 6.1. The hard copy includes advice on information that should be inserted where project-specific information is required. This, of course, can be inserted as the disc is processed. Thus, the full printed CQA Plan, with its years of experience, is only a few minutes away.

The cost of the CQA Plan is US$1,500. This is equivalent to less than 20 hours of an engineers' time. It is doubtful that an effective polymer-based CQA Plan could be put together in less than 50 hours.
